Product Description |
| The 60 Watt MagSafe Power Adapter features a magnetic DC connector that ensures your power cable will disconnect if it experiences undue strain and helps prevent fraying or weakening of the cables over time. In addition, the magnetic DC helps guide the plug into the system for a quick and secure connection. When the connection is secure, an LED located at the head of the DC connector will light; an amber light lets you know that your portable is charging, while a green light tells you that you have a full charge. An AC cord is provided with the adapter for maximum cord length, while the AC wall adapter (also provided) gives users an even easier and more compact way to travel. Designed to be the perfect traveling companion, the adapter has a clever design, which allows the DC cable to be wound neatly around itself for easy cable storage. This power adapter recharges the lithium polymer battery while the system is off, on, or in sleep mode. It also powers the system if you choose to operate without a battery. |

The original and the best!

| What can I say - an original part, works 100%, and that's what you expect with Apple equipment! |
Just a spare power supply ...

| Needed a spare Macbook power adapter so went back to Apple rather than trying one of the third-party options -- the existing poor design hasn't been overcome, with feeble cable strength causing the "magnetic" end to weaken and cease to function. It's a shame Apple hasn't improved this in newer versions. |
Great Apple bargain

| This is a genuine Apple Magsafe charger for half the price of one from the Apple store. They do it by brown boxing the charger and excluding the extension lead bit. So you just get the adapter and UK plug in to the wall. Ideal for what I need and I can use the extension lead bit from the old one that packed up. |
Bargain... but not official Apple

A bargain part which works well (apart from the fact it seems to interfere with the radio). But note that it is not an official Apple charger - hence the price.
The image for the product is misleading as the unit received is not branded with the Apple logo.
Does the job though :o) |
