I often travel in a car overnight and cannot see the keyboard. Even as a reasonable typist I do need to know where my fingers are and some of the function keys are unfamiliar. This device is really useful. Does just what it claims and provides enough light for user without distracting the driver. Of course it uses battery power but does not seem to have a dramatic impact. I would thoroughly recommend.
It does exactly what it says on the tin,and for the price you can't go wrong

A simple and surprisingly effective solution to night use of my laptop. Not sure I would want it much longer, but others may.

For the price - brilliant and, as usual, great service.

It's not exactly the brightest light I've seen. It only works, as perhaps by design, when there is absolutely no other light around. So at the price, I'm probably a little hard on my star rating. I could see this working well on night flights or anywhere else with subdued lighting. But hey, look at the price!
