Does what it says on the box

Neat, tidy, compact & does what it says on the box . . . allows you to plug 4 USB cables into one USB socket & then happily use the different items as you would if they were plugged directly into your PC / laptop. No extra power cable required.
Small and has optional power

Nice little unit that works fine without a separate power supply. However, it will take a DC power source to power USB devices if necessary. Doesn't come with a power lead so you'll need a compatible one.
Neat and Compact

An excellent piece of equipment, neat and compact for stowage, no trailing leads and most important does the job well
Great gadget

What a great gadget. It does exactly what it says on the tin. No more having to pull the computer desk out, unplug a USB and plug in the one I want to use - brilliant!!!
Small but Versatile

I've no regrets about buying this little item. Though it's small size originally gave me pause -- and I asked myself the question 'are the four sockets far enough apart to fit my various USB plugs?' -- I decided to risk it (the low price was the deciding factor) and I've not experienced any problems so far. I manage perfectly well by keeping my two permanent USB plugs (for mouse and printer) in the two centre sockets, and use the two outer ones for other things. Both PNY attache and Bytestor flash drives go in the outer sockets without fouling neighbouring plugs (just!), even though it's a tight squeeze. (Speaking of tight squeezes, you do need to be aware that the connecting lead between hub and PC is EXTREMELY short and doesn't allow much choice of positions. So if you want a hub that can be positioned freely round your PC this probably isn't right for you. Speaking personally, once it's set up I don't move it around, so this particular feature hasn't caused me a problem yet.) As regards the hub's usefulness, no problems at all: there was no setting up and it worked fine straight out of the pack. Which came as even more of a relief, as I still have a 2002 PC with the older, 'slow' USB connection. So no more incessant USB plugging-and-unplugging for me: I wonder how I ever managed without it.
