When I ordered this monopod I thought, Oh well, even if it's not very good it's only cost me £8.99 + postage. Wow! I couldn't believe my luck dropping on this bargain, especially with the removable plate. It's sturdy, lightweight, in a bag with a shoulder strap, a foot stirrup, plenty tall enough for me (I'm 5' 10") with more to spare, positive adjustment of the leg and able to hold a decent weight. Everything you could wish for, well pleased with it.

Too good to be true??

If something appears too good to be true, experience shows it usually is! However, I decided to give this a try - it cost me £10 to park my car today so spending similar on a monopod seemed a good risk - but, it turned out there was no risk! Very quick (signed for) delivery, well packaged, and including a free carry bag. I had seen a similar bag priced at more than £10 so if the monopod within was 'no good' I already had value for money.

I possess two tripods and this is a perfect addition. It looks good, it feels good, and it does the job. If I throw it away after a month it will still have been good value BUT I suspect I will get many months of use out of it. It is so light and easy to carry that it goes everywhere my camera goes. No matter how full my car boot is there is always room for this - and because it cost so little I risk this in places I would not risk my tripods.
Monopod is exactly what I was looking for

What can you say about a monopod.
It holds either my camera or my telescope steady when I need them to be steady, which is exactly what I wanted when I purchased it.
The foot rest is a great help.
Does exactly what it is meant to do.
